Q: HOW DOES MY FOUR SEASONS GIFT CARD WORK?

A: Four Seasons currently offers three different types of Gift Cards:

1. Property-specific cards/certificates – These Gift Cards/certificates are branded with a single hotel or resort name and can only be issued and redeemed at that specific location.
2. Worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards – These Gift Cards are part of our worldwide Gift Card programme and can be used at Four Seasons hotels and resorts around the globe.
3. Worldwide Four Seasons eGift Cards – Our e-Gift Cards are purchased through BuyaTab via the Gift Cards page on our web site. They function in the same way as worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards except that they are virtual, so they are sent to the recipient via e-mail. The recipient may then print out a copy of the e-Gift Card for redemption at a Four Seasons hotel or resort, or show it to hotel staff on a personal handheld device, such as a smart phone.

Q: CAN PAPER-BASED GIFT CERTIFICATES STILL BE USED?

A: Yes, all paper-based Four Seasons gift certificates still in circulation will be honoured.

Q: IN WHAT DENOMINATIONS ARE GIFT CARDS SOLD?

A: Worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards can be purchased on our web site in any denomination ranging from USD 100 to USD to 2,000.  

Q: WHEN WILL MY CREDIT CARD BE CHARGED?

A: When you order on line, your credit card will be charged after you click "Confirm Order" on the check-out window of your completed order form. When you order in person at a Four Seasons hotel or resort, your credit card will be charged at the time of signature.

Q: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE FOR A GIFT CARD TO BE DELIVERED?

A: Recipients will receive e-Gift Cards via e-mail on the date requested by the purchaser. For worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards , the delivery time will depend on the delivery service you choose. Within the United States, you have five choices:

  • US Priority service (for delivery in 1-2 business days, with a 9:00 am–5:00 pm delivery time)
  • US Expedited service (for delivery in 2-3 business days, with a 9:00 am–5:00 pm delivery time)
  • US Standard service (for delivery in 5–7 business days, with a 9:00 am–5:00 pm delivery time)
  • Evening (5–7 business days, with a 5:00 pm–8:00 pm delivery time)
  • By appointment (5–7 business days, shipper will call)

Outside the United States, all Gift Cards are delivered via Expedited service (for delivery in 3-4 business days for most destinations). Due to customs and border regulations, Four Seasons cannot guarantee international delivery times.

Q: HOW DO I PURCHASE MORE THAN ONE GIFT CARD?

A: You can use this web site to purchase up to 10 Gift Cards per order form. Each online order can total up to USD 10,000. You can also visit the Four Seasons hotel or resort closest to you, where our staff will be pleased to help you arrange Gift Card orders in greater numbers.

Q: CAN GIFT CARDS BE ORDERED BY TELEPHONE?

A: At this time, Gift Cards can only be ordered on line at www.fourseasons.com/gift_cards or purchased from one of our hotels or resorts.

Q: WHAT CAN GIFT CARDS BE USED FOR?

A: Four Seasons Gift Cards can be used for accommodations and much more, including spa services, dining or golf, tennis and other leisure activities at any facility managed by Four Seasons. Gift Cards will not be accepted at outlets managed by a third party. Contact the Four Seasons property for more information.

Please note that services or facilities (such as golf courses and spas) at some hotels and resorts are only available to in-house guests. For in-house guests, any charge that can be applied to a hotel folio can be paid for with a Gift Card. This includes taxes and gratuities. To avoid disappointment, we suggest that Gift Card holders mention or present the Gift Card at the time of booking.

Q: DOES THE HOLDER OF A GIFT CARD HAVE TO BE A HOTEL/RESORT GUEST TO USE THE GIFT CARD?

A: The holder can use his/her Gift Card to pay for meals or services purchased at a Four Seasons hotel or resort, even if he/she is not currently a guest there. Please note, however, that services or facilities (such as golf courses and spas) may only be available to in-house guests. We suggest that Gift Card holders check with the hotel or resort at time of booking.

Q: DOES THE FULL VALUE OF THE GIFT CARD HAVE TO BE REDEEMED AT ONCE?

A: Unlike a paper-based gift certificate, the worldwide Four Seasons Gift Card and e-Gift Cards are designed to carry a balance. Therefore, if a guest uses his/her Gift Card to pay for something of lesser value than is stored on the card, the amount of the purchase will be subtracted and the remaining balance will remain on the card for future use.

Q: DO GIFT CARDS HAVE AN EXPIRY DATE?

A: Worldwide Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts Gift Cards do not expire.

Q: CAN GIFT CARDS BE REDEEMED FOR CASH?

A: Worldwide Four Seasons Gift Cards and e-Gift Cards cannot be redeemed for cash and should be used as payment at a Four Seasons hotel or resort.

Q: HOW DOES “BALANCE PROTECTION” WORK?

A: By registering your Gift Card, you can protect your card balance from the time you report it lost or stolen. As soon as your loss report is made, your balance will be frozen and transferred to a new card, which will be sent to you by mail.

Q: HOW DO I PROTECT MY GIFT CARD BALANCE?

A: The best way to protect your Gift Card balance is to register your card as soon as you receive it. You will be asked to enter your e-mail address, create a password and enter your gift card number. The process will take less than five minutes. Register your card now.

Q: CAN YOU REPLACE MY WORLDWIDE FOUR SEASONS GIFT CARD IF IT IS NOT REGISTERED?

A: You must register your worldwide Four Seasons Gift Card to protect its balance. Register your card now.

Q: WHAT SHOULD I DO IF MY GIFT CARD IS LOST OR STOLEN?

A: Simply visit this web site, select “Using your Gift Card” from the left hand navigation and then select “Report card loss or theft .” You will need to enter your e-mail address and the password you created when you registered your card. Follow a few easy steps and the remaining balance on your Gift Card will be frozen and transferred to a new Gift Card. The value stored on the replacement Gift Card will match the balance of your account at the time you reported your original card missing. The replacement Gift Card will be sent to you at no cost.

Q: WHAT HAPPENS IF I FIND A GIFT CARD THAT I REPORTED LOST OR STOLEN?

A: You can discard it. Once the balance has been frozen and transferred to a new Gift Card, the old card has no value and cannot be accepted for payment at Four Seasons hotels or resorts.

A: To check a Gift Card or e-Gift Card balance:
